Flooded Battery Replacement

  • 2009 government project where MaeTec Power provided the installation services for (8) strings, with (120) C&D 2XTRC-25 Flooded Lead-Acid jars in each string. Installation of the battery strings were installed in a three tier rack and connection of battery monitoring system.
  • Included the removal of existing batteries and racks and the proper disposal and certificate of disposal for all old batteries

Customer BDFB was overloaded.

  • Transitioned circuits to new BDFB in maintenance window to balance load between the two.
  • Identified how many of the circuits needed to be transitioned over to the new BDFB
  • Verified how many of these circuits needed to be transitioned from various panels
  • Once the circuits were identified we notified the site contact of which circuits would be moved so that they could monitor it during the transition.

192 Cell Battery Replacement with Alber Monitoring System

  • Recently removed a 192 cell battery at a government facility in Alaska. Batteries were swollen and corroded. Removed and transported to smelter plant, providing customer with certified disposal certificates. Removed old anchors and studs which were severly corroded in place.
BDFB Addition

  • Installation of two new BDFB’s, cabling, and associated ladder rack to support the new equipment.
